Professor Emeritus of European Union Law, Competition Law, and Private International Law at Democritus University of Thrace. Practicing law since 1971, with extensive experience in complex cases before Greek courts, the judicial bodies of the EU, and the European Court of Human Rights.

OUR HISTORY
“G.-E. Kalavros and Al. Kalavros & Associates Law Firm” was founded in 2007, continuing the long and successful legacy of the law firm “G.-E. Kalavros and Associates,” which had been founded in Athens in 1971 by attorney G.-E. Kalavros.
From its very inception, the firm has charted a steady and upward trajectory in the legal field, with more than five decades of continuous and dynamic presence. During this time, it has undertaken and handled a large number of cases for entities in both the private and public sectors, in court and out of court. Many of these cases were highly complex and required specialized legal expertise.
The Firm’s practice spans a wide range of legal fields, with a particular emphasis on civil, commercial, and corporate law, as well as public and administrative law. At the same time, the firm possesses significant expertise in European and international law, with an active presence in cases pertaining to the European legal order.
The Firm has represented clients before Greek courts and administrative authorities, as well as before the judicial bodies of the European Union in Luxembourg and the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Furthermore, the firm has significant experience in proceedings before the European Commission, as well as in competition cases.
